Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Coordinator to join our Medical Education team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to our undergraduate team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality education and training for healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide effective administrative support to the Medical Education team, including coordination and distribution of information, organizing inductions and teachings, and maintaining office and training equipment.
  • Act as the first point of contact for our service users, stakeholders, and colleagues, providing face-to-face, telephone, and email communication.
  • Support the wider team with general office administration, including organizing meetings, taking minutes, and helping design and distribute resources.
  • Work flexibly to prioritize and organize own and team workloads, dependent on the conflicting demands of the service.

Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with a wide range of people, including students, stakeholders, patients, families, medical staff, and the wider multi-disciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages, including spreadsheets and databases.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize own workload, with a flexible approach to the conflicting demands of the service.
  • Experience of working in a busy environment and dealing with the general public, with a strong understanding of the need for confidentiality and discretion.
