About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Kerridge Commercial Systems. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and delivering sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the wholesale, manufacturing, and distribution marketplaces.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to promote our software solutions.
  • Conduct thorough business discovery processes to understand customer needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Qualify and pursue sales opportunities, working closely with the marketing department to leverage their capabilities.
  • Manage and maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM data.
  • Attend and present at monthly sales meetings to share progress and insights.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable record of achieving new business targets and a strong understanding of the distribution market.
  • Excellent qualification and assessment skills, with the ability to deliver presentations to board-level executives.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a team environment, with strong commercial awareness and communication skills.
  • Desirable: experience in B2B new business sales, particularly with ERP software, and a background in the distribution market.
