We are seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to oversee the SEND provision at a school in Worcestershire. A successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students with additional needs, working closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure every child receives tailored support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the SEND department, ensuring the school's provision is inclusive and effective.
  • Coordinate student identification, assessment, and support, maintaining accurate records and complying with legal requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and provision maps for students with SEND.
  • Provide training on SEND best practices and legislation to staff.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and SENCO qualification or willingness to obtain one.
  • A commitment to inclusion and belief that all children can succeed.

The salary for this position is estimated to be £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
