We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part Time Youth Worker to join our team at West Dunbartonshire Council. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and delivery of activities for the Get Up and Go Youth Group, which serves young people with additional support needs. Your duties will include contributing to creating a positive work environment, promoting inclusivity, and providing support to staff and volunteers.

Benefits and Salary

This fixed term post comes with a salary of £22,920.74 per year pro rata, plus access to the Local Government pension scheme, which boasts an employer contribution of at least 19.3%. You will also receive a minimum of 25 days annual leave, increasing by one day each year up to 35 days, along with eight fixed public holidays annually. Our employee wellbeing supports include occupational health and counselling services, ensuring your overall well-being.
