The role of a Working 4U Youth Worker is an exciting opportunity to join our team at West Dunbartonshire Council and contribute to the delivery of our Get Up and Go Youth Group (GUAG). This group provides a safe and supportive environment for young people with additional support needs, and we are seeking an individual who shares our passion for making a positive impact in their lives.

This fixed-term post until 30/06/2025 offers a unique chance to work part-time, approximately 6 hours per week, in a hybrid work-from-home setting. As a Working 4U Youth Worker, you will assist in planning and delivering activities that promote interaction and engagement among young people with additional support needs. This may include collaborating with other sections of the service to develop educational and diversionary activities that cater to diverse interests and needs.

Working 4U Youth Workers play a vital role in supporting the development of essential life skills, fostering positive relationships, and encouraging young people to reach their full potential. In return, we offer a competitive salary, estimated at £22,920.74 per year pro-rata, along with a range of benefits including access to the Local Government pension scheme, annual leave, and employee wellbeing supports.
