Job Title: Maternity Recruitment Specialist

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Maternity Recruitment Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with midwifery teams and HR colleagues to identify and address workforce planning needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have expertise in developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain top talent in the maternity sector. They will be responsible for leading projects to develop new roles, innovative ways of working, and programmes to support recruitment and retention.

The estimated salary for this position is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment and retention strategies to meet the needs of our maternity workforce.
  • Work closely with midwifery teams and HR colleagues to identify and address workforce planning needs.
  • Manage and lead projects to develop new roles and ways of working in midwifery.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure alignment with the trust's overall strategy.
Person Specification
  • A Master's Degree or level 7 equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Leadership and management experience within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong knowledge of national maternity agenda and current issues relating to the NHS.
