Job Title: Primary Care Lead Nurse

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum

The National Health Service (NHS) is seeking a skilled and experienced Primary Care Lead Nurse to join our team. As a key member of the general practice nursing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement nursing services that meet the needs of our patients.
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team.
  • Ensure high standards of patient care are maintained at all times.
  • Prioritize health problems and intervene appropriately in complex situations.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care using specialist practice nurse skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years recent primary care nursing experience.
  • Clinical skills in cervical cytology, immunization, cryotherapy, and minor surgery assistance.
  • Interest in education within a primary care setting.
  • Clinical supervision training and experience.
  • Qualifications in family planning, asthma, diabetes, CVD, and/or cervical screening.
