Job Summary

The Ministry of Defence is seeking a highly skilled Requirements Manager to join its team at UKStratCom Infrastructure. As a key member of the Defence Estates Optimisation programme, you will play a crucial role in delivering the Defence Intelligence Consolidation (DI-C) programme, which aims to optimise Defence Intelligence (DI) establishments for the long-term future.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a complex programme that requires strong project management skills, business acumen, and the ability to build professional relationships with partners and stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing the business-facing elements of major infrastructure delivery, from concept to handover and closeout of a maintainable asset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects using the DIO Capital Projects Process/Forward Approval Plan (FAP) and Command Infrastructure Delivery Plan (CIDP)
  • Coordinate and develop Business Cases and other supporting documentation
  • Engage with various partners, positively challenging Performance, Time, Cost, and Risks to ensure project outputs are delivered
  • Undertake TSP Tender Evaluation and Moderation and review DIO's client specs/associated documents for projects
  • Lead on programme and project governance
  • Training, Learning, and CPD
Requirements
  • Strong project management skills and experience in managing complex infrastructure projects
  • Excellent business acumen and ability to build professional relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and proactively tackle problems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • DV clearance to be acquired within the first year of taking up post
