Account Manager Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our team at Permanent Futures. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to a portfolio of reputable clients.

  1. Manage client relationships and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  2. Collaborate with the Account Coordinator to handle customer requests and maintain accurate stock records.
  3. Support the Account Coordinator in managing their workload and ensuring smooth production runs.
  4. Organize and maintain accurate records of item set-ups, BOMs, routes, work orders, purchase orders, and sales orders.
  5. Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure production runs smoothly and potential issues are identified and mitigated.
Account Manager Skills and Abilities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Proven experience in customer service or client management.
  2. Ability to lead a team and manage your own workload.
  3. Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel.
  5. Knowledge of SAP and SAGE is preferred.
  6. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  7. Experience in a mechanical engineering focused manufacturing environment.
