NHS Learning Disability Nurse Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior Learning Disability Nurse to join Elysium Healthcare as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. You will be responsible for leading on quality, service user safety, pre-admission assessments, and liaising with case managers and care coordinators.
This role offers the chance to develop specialist skills and make a real difference for vulnerable individuals in a supportive and rewarding work environment.
Main duties of the job- As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will have demonstrable RNLD post-registration experience and be able to design and deliver supervision and training to junior nursing staff and students.
- You will work in a modern, purpose-built hospital providing care to men and women with mental health conditions, including low and medium secure environments.
- The role involves a variety of tasks, keeping you engaged and motivated, with a good amount of routine as well.
- As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will have demonstrable RNLD post-registration experience and be able to demonstrate post-registration study and development.
- You will also design and deliver supervision and training to junior members of the nursing team and students.
- No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine.
- An annual salary of £51,376.
- The equivalent of 33 days annual leave (inc Bank Holidays) – plus your birthday off.
