**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Community Engagement Specialist to join our team at NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Integrated Care Board.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing public engagement initiatives and building robust relationships with stakeholders. This role is crucial for ensuring local health and care services meet community needs and for fostering partnerships that support the organisation's goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT, DELIVERY AND ANALYSIS OF ENGAGEMENT AND STAKEHOLDER RELATION ACTIVITY WITH OUR DIVERSE POPULATION TO HELP DESIGN AND DEVELOP HEALTH SERVICES.
  • LINK IN WITH COMMUNITY AND VOLUNTARY SECTOR ORGANISATIONS AND INTEGRATED NEIGHBOURHOOD TEAMS TO ENSURE A DIVERSE RANGE OF ORGANISATIONS ARE INFORMED AND LINKED INTO THE WORK OF NHS SHROPSHIRE, TELFORD AND WREKIN.
  • SUPPORT AND DELIVER ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITY FOR NHS SHROPSHIRE, TELFORD AND WREKIN INCLUDING PUBLIC AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS, INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL ENGAGEMENT EVENTS, SURVEY WORK, WORKSHOPS, FOCUS GROUPS AND FORMAL PUBLIC CONSULTATIONS.

**Requirements:**

  • EVIDENCE OF SUCCESS IN EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE PROJECT AND PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT.
  • WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF PROJECT PRINCIPLES, TECHNIQUES AND TOOLS.
  • CLEAR COMMUNICATOR WITH EXCELLENT WRITING, REPORT WRITING AND PRESENTATION SKILLS.
  • SKILLS FOR NURTURING KEY RELATIONSHIPS AND MAINTAINING NETWORKS.
  • ATTENTION TO DETAIL COMBINED WITH THE ABILITY TO EXTRACT KEY MESSAGES FROM COMPLEX ANALYSIS.

**Salary:** £38,000 - £45,500 per annum (dependent on experience)
