We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Upper Ford Lodge, a residential home in Droitwich Spa providing permanent accommodation for nine adults with autism.
About Upper Ford LodgeOur residents enjoy meaningful activities and access to the community. The service features three floors of comfortable living spaces, including a built-in trampoline, sensory garden, and communal areas designed to foster social interaction and independence.
Your Role as a Support Worker- Understand Individual Needs: You will work closely with each resident to understand their unique preferences, interests, and support requirements.
- Provide Person-Centered Care: Delivering care that is tailored to the individual's needs, promoting their well-being, and encouraging their active participation in daily activities.
- Facilitate Social Engagement: Encourage social interaction and community involvement, supporting residents in building meaningful relationships.
- Maintain a Safe and Supportive Environment: Ensure the safety and security of all residents, adhering to established protocols and promoting a positive living environment.
- Record Keeping and Communication: Maintain accurate records of resident activities, progress, and any concerns, effectively communicating with colleagues and families.
