About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Woodland View Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

As a member of our care team, you will be responsible for assisting residents with personal care activities, such as washing, dressing, and assisting with meals. You will also deliver care that is tailored to each resident's individual needs, promoting their dignity and sense of individuality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care activities, such as washing, dressing, and assisting with meals
  • Deliver care that is tailored to each resident's individual needs, promoting their dignity and sense of individuality
  • Support residents with limited mobility to learn to use aids and assist with daily living activities
  • Provide emotional support to residents who are confused or distressed
  • Safeguard residents from abuse, harm, or neglect, reporting any concerns to the relevant authorities
