About the Role

Barchester Healthcare Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Clinical Development Lead to join our team. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the clinical governance and quality of care in four of our care homes located across different regions.

You will work closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to support the continual improvement of standards and help implement key actions to address any issues that arise. Your leadership skills, sharp analytical mind, and ability to share knowledge, build relationships, and deliver on your action plans will enable you to make a real difference to the residents in our care.

Responsibilities

  • To lead and support the clinical governance and quality of care in four care homes
  • To review the clinical governance database and KPIs of each home every month and identify practical strategies to improve care delivery
  • To work closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to implement key actions to address any issues that arise

Requirements

  • A Registered Nurse RN (General) with a current NMC registration
  • Evidence of continued professional development and a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements
  • An experienced nurse with a proven track record of working in a care home environment and mentoring newly-qualified nurses
