We are seeking an experienced Cardiologist to join our dynamic team at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering non-interventional Cardiology services. You will be responsible for managing patients on CCU and CIU wards, conducting cardiac imaging procedures, and working collaboratively with the General Cardiology service.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead clinical management of patients on CCU and CIU wards
- Conduct cardiac imaging procedures, including TOE, stress echo, CTCA, and CMRI
- Manage arrhythmia and electrophysiology cases, as well as inherited cardiac conditions
Requirements
- Contemporary experience in general and acute Cardiology
- Competency in one or more areas, such as cardiac imaging, arrhythmia management, or inherited cardiac conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to adapt style depending on audience
- Flexible approach, with ability to operate as an agent of change and work collaboratively with peers and MDT
