Job Title: Electrophysiology Team Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to further the development of the elective cardiology service at a reputable private hospital in Cornwall.

The successful candidate will be part of an amazing team and contribute to the further development of the elective cardiology service with a cardiac cath lab that is about to be fully refurbished with state-of-the-art facilities enabling additional services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of the Cardiology Service, ensuring efficient capacity and demand management, as well as addressing patient concerns.
  • Support non-clinical staff in appointment scheduling, stock management, and other administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with consultants and clinical team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in providing a wide range of cardiac procedures within the outpatient setting.
  • ECHO accreditation is essential for this role.
  • Prior management experience, including team leadership and clinical activity management, is required.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in non-invasive investigations such as stress echo, treadmills, and pacemaker follow-up, including ILR, CRT, ICD, and brady devices.
  • Able to support cath lab lists for elective angiography, PCI, and device implant/explant.
