We are seeking a highly experienced veterinary surgeon to join our team as an area clinical specialist, based in the Cornwall region. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver clinical excellence across multiple practices while inspiring teams and driving positive change.
About the Role:
- This newly created position involves working within a defined geographical area, serving as a mobile area veterinary surgeon for specific periods.
- The successful candidate will be allocated to practices requiring a senior veterinary presence, providing stability and support while promoting best practices.
- The role spans a consistent group of practices within the Cornwall area, allowing for strong relationships to be built with colleagues and time to plan travel.
- Ongoing professional development and opportunities for involvement in project work, trialling new initiatives, and supporting the wider pet care ecosystem are also key aspects of this role.
Requirements and Qualifications:
We are looking for a veterinarian who is passionate about clinical excellence and high standards, with a focus on people development. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a range of medical and surgical cases encountered in general practice, and contribute to clinical standards, operational improvements, and commercial success.
