About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled pharmacist to advance their career and specialise in technical services, cancer care, and nutrition. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with consultants, specialist nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical support and services to oncology and haematology teams, ensuring chemotherapy prescriptions are thoroughly screened by a qualified pharmacist.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary nutrition team, comprising consultants, specialist nurses, dieticians, and a dedicated nutrition pharmacy technician.
  • Develop and implement pharmaceutical and clinical advice to support the nutrition team's delivery of TPN services to inpatients and patients receiving treatment at home.
Requirements:
  • Masters-level degree in Pharmacy.
  • Clinical Diploma or working towards.
  • Registration with the GPHC as a Pharmacist.
  • Supplementary or independent prescriber status.
  • Sufficient post-registration experience covering a range of specialties.
Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary of £65,000-£85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
