**Role Overview:**

A competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role in supporting students' well-being and academic progress.

The successful candidate will work closely with students, providing essential emotional and social support to help them develop resilience and positive attitudes towards learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building trusting relationships with students and identifying any personal issues that may impact their academic progress
  • Collaborating with the pastoral team to create supportive strategies and provide guidance to students
  • Assisting with referrals to external agencies and services as needed

Requirements:

  • Strong commitment to student well-being and mental health support
  • Previous experience in a pastoral or support role, especially within education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain patient, empathetic, and understanding in challenging situations
