Teaching Assistant for Students with Autism

About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant for Students with Autism to join our team at Protocol Education Ltd. As a Teaching Assistant for Students with Autism, you will work closely with children who have a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with autism in a classroom setting.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop individualized learning plans for students with autism.
  • Assist with classroom management and organization.
Requirements
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of autism and inclusive education.
  • Patient and empathetic approach.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have good spoken English.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
Salary

£25-30 per hour (dependent on experience)
