Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Information Officer to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our digital transformation team, you will play a crucial role in leading and supporting workstreams as part of our Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation project.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the national digital agenda and the ability to apply this knowledge to improve patient care. You will be responsible for ensuring the adoption and engagement of Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) in the use of technology, driving continuous clinical process improvement, and developing clinical information that supports and enhances AHP practice.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and support workstreams as part of the EPR implementation project
  • Develop and implement digital solutions to improve patient care and AHP practice
  • Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Information Officer (CNIO) and Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO) to develop and implement digital strategies
  • Ensure AHP adoption and engagement in the use of technology
  • Drive continuous clinical process improvement in the AHP workforce
Requirements
  • Relevant professional/clinical qualification (HCPC registered)
  • First level degree in a related healthcare discipline
  • Master's degree relevant to the role or equivalent experience
  • Teaching/Mentorship qualification
  • Clinical Safety Officer Practitioner or willingness to undertake
