About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Information Officer - Allied Health Professional to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and support the development and implementation of digital solutions to improve patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Digital Transformation: Develop and implement digital solutions to improve patient care and outcomes, working closely with clinical teams and stakeholders.
  • Clinical Information Management: Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical information, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with clinical teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving and Analysis: Analyze complex clinical information and identify opportunities for improvement, developing and implementing solutions to address these issues.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to clinical staff on the use of digital solutions, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to effectively use these tools.
Requirements
  • Relevant Qualifications: A relevant professional or clinical qualification, such as a degree in a healthcare discipline, and a Master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Clinical Experience: Significant experience in a clinical setting, with a strong understanding of clinical information management and digital solutions.
  • Leadership and Management: Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinical teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
