About the Role:We are seeking an experienced People Development Manager to join our team at Bright Horizons UK. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our business objectives through effective employee relations and people development.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on effective employee relations practices, including performance improvement plans, investigations, and disciplinary procedures.
- Support HR Consultants with high-volume employee relations case management.
- Develop and implement training programs to drive a high-performance culture, focusing on complex investigations, grievances, disciplinaries, performance improvement, and health and wellbeing.
- Analyze HR KPI data to identify trends and areas for improvement, informing strategic decisions to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
- Proven experience in managing complex employee relations cases, with a strong track record of resolution and escalation.
- Excellent coaching and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and develop cohesive teams.
- Commercial awareness and ability to translate policy into sound advice, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
- Knowledge of employment legislation, EU directives, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to travel within the UK, with flexibility to work from home or regional offices as required.
- A competitive salary of up to £36k per annum, plus car allowance.
