This role provides an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals struggling with drug and alcohol issues.

The Role

As a Substance Misuse Outreach and Engagement Specialist, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services to service users and their families.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting client re-engagement into treatment services
  • Reducing unsuccessful discharges and increasing positive outcomes for clients
  • Delivering evidence-based interventions and recovery planning
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Supporting volunteers and service user representatives

The Service

i-access is an integrated service delivered in partnership by Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust and Via. It provides substance misuse treatment for individuals aged 18 and above in Surrey.

Location

The role is Surrey-wide, with an admin base in Woking. Travel to other i-access locations may be required.
