Salary

The salary for this role is highly competitive, with a starting salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a generous sleep-in allowance of £50 per night, and access to a range of benefits including a pension scheme, life insurance, and flexible working arrangements.

Job Description

As a Residential Support Worker at Compass Children's Homes, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the daily care and well-being of our residents

• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with our residents, their families, and other professionals involved in their care

• Participating in therapeutic activities and interventions designed to promote the emotional and psychological well-being of our residents

• Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A valid driving licence and a reliable vehicle

• A Level 3 qualification in childcare or youth work (or equivalent)

• Experience of working with children and young people in a care setting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and sleep-ins
