Residential Care Manager

A dynamic opportunity has arisen to lead a two-bedroom children's home in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, providing care for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties aged 10-18 years. The successful candidate will ensure the home operates in compliance with the standards and regulations set out in the Children's Home Regulations and Quality Standards 2015. This role involves implementing and working in accordance with all aspects of the Statement of Purpose within the children's home.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide care and support for children/young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties
* Ensure the home operates in compliance with regulatory requirements
* Develop and supervise a staff team, delegating tasks as appropriate
* Be part of an on-call system
About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time, permanent position with a basic salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependant on experience and qualifications. In addition to this, you will receive a company bonus scheme, generous annual leave, access to an employee assistance programme, and person-centred development plans including therapeutic training qualifications.
