Lead a Team of Carers in a Therapeutic Environment

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our children’s home in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children aged 10-18 years with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. A good understanding of therapeutic practices and PACE is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care and support to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the home
  • Develop and supervise a staff team
  • Ensure compliance with Children’s Home Regulations and Quality Standards
  • Work closely with the Responsible Individual to further develop staff therapeutic practices and skills
