Dedicated SEN Outreach Support Worker Wanted

Location: Torbay, UK

We are looking for a caring and skilled SEN Outreach Support Worker to join our team and support children with SEN in the Torbay area.

About the Role
  • Offer tailored support to children with SEN in outreach settings, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, other support staff, and parents to develop effective strategies for supporting children.
  • Keep up-to-date with best practices in SEN support and adapt your approach as needed to meet the diverse needs of children.
Key Requirements:
  • Have significant experience working with children with SEN, preferably in one-to-one or outreach settings.
  • Be able to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meet the necessary safeguarding requirements and hold a current DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one.
  • A driving license and access to a vehicle would be beneficial but are not essential.
