We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Plymouth. This role offers a unique opportunity to work both within classroom settings and in outreach, supporting students in a variety of learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students with a range of SEN needs, fostering their academic and social development.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to deliver individualized learning plans, adapting teaching methods and resources as needed.
  • Engage in one-on-one and group activities, promoting inclusivity and encouraging student engagement and independence.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
  • Actively contribute to a safe and positive learning environment, addressing any specific behavioral, emotional, or physical needs.
  • Participate in outreach work, supporting students outside the classroom in community or home settings, as required.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. The salary for this role is £85-£90 per day, based on experience. We believe that every student deserves a high-quality education, and we are looking for someone who shares this commitment.
