Teaching Personnel seeks a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to work in Plymouth. This role offers a unique opportunity to support students with diverse SEN needs in various learning environments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing tailored support to students with SEN, fostering their academic and social development.
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to deliver individualized learning plans, adapting teaching methods and resources as needed.
  • Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitoring student progress.
  • Participating in outreach work, supporting students outside the classroom in community or home settings, as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong communication, empathy, and patience, with the ability to adapt to each child's individual needs.
  • Availability: Must be available full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
