Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team as a Business Partnership Specialist. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in HR, preferably within the legal or professional services sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to partners, managers, and employees on generalist HR matters. This includes commercially focussed people solutions that take into account business strategy, growth planning, policies, employment legislation, and HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior members of the HR team to drive business performance aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Lead absence management to ensure employees receive support and areas of concern are addressed promptly.
  • Contribute to researching, designing, and implementing firm policies to ensure compliance with legislative changes and alignment with the firm's brand.
  • Help improve HR systems and practices through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to appropriate policies, procedures, and legal requirements in line with GDPR regulations.
  • Support managers during critical annual HR cycles, ensuring processes are executed on time (e.g., PDRs, salary reviews).
  • Manage employee relationships, provide support through grievances, and conduct mediation meetings when necessary.
  • Handle HR matters reliably, adhering to current legislation and firm policy.
  • Support the HR Business Partner in reviewing performance management.
  • Train line managers on current employment legislation and future changes.

Salary Range: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
