Job Summary

The Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Triage Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our Triage Hub, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective triage of patient referrals and providing high-quality care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the triage team in evaluating patient referrals, prioritizing cases, and allocating resources effectively.
  • Use advanced clinical knowledge to make informed decisions about patient care and develop strategies to improve patient outcomes.
  • Liaise with referrers, patients, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Develop and implement triage rotas to ensure efficient use of resources and effective staffing.
  • Monitor and analyze statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement, and make recommendations to the Clinical Operational Manager.
  • Provide guidance, support, and supervision to triage staff, including mentoring and coaching.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, policies, and procedures, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
