Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a mainstream primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to children with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to develop and implement tailored learning plans and interventions.
  • Support pupils in their academic, social, and emotional development, ensuring they can fully access the curriculum.
  • Assist with classroom management, behavior support, and creating an inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of individual learning needs and strategies for differentiation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and nurturing approach.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
