Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse, Learning Disability (RNLD) to join our team as a Children's Community Learning Disabilities Specialist. This role involves coordinating the delivery of expert clinical care to children requiring learning disabilities nursing support in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and deliver interventions towards a defined caseload of children and young people with learning disabilities within Local Commissioning Group boundaries.
  • Provide specialist nursing input focusing on complex healthcare needs assessments, health action planning, and health facilitation.
Requirements
  • Registered nurse, learning disability (RNLD)
  • First degree in Nursing/Diploma or related subject
  • Post registration, specialist training relevant to specialty
  • Highly experienced in working with children with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism
  • Evidence of participation in community-based projects/initiatives
