We are seeking a skilled Registered Learning Disability Nurse to join our well-established Transformation Unit in Salford.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic nurse to work in a fully integrated Health & Social Care Team, promoting high quality health and social care outcomes for people with learning disabilities.

The successful candidate will have a varied caseload of work to reflect the diversity of the local community and will work independently but under the direction and supervision of senior staff to complete high quality, holistic assessments across a range of community settings.

About the Role:
  • You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing support plans, and providing training to colleagues.
  • The role involves working collaboratively with individuals, families, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Current Registration with NMC as RNLD.
  • Experience of working with adults with Learning Disabilities and their families.
  • Assessment and support planning.
  • Experience of training others including presentations.
