Transformative Payroll and HR Leadership Opportunity
At Arla Foods, we are seeking an exceptional Payroll and HR leader to join our UK team. As the Head of Payroll and HR Administration, you will be responsible for leading our payroll and HR functions, ensuring compliance with statutory legislation and regulations, and driving operational excellence across the employee life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for payroll, HR administration, and master data, delivering operational excellence across the employee life cycle.
- Ensure compliance with statutory legislation and regulations, internal control standards, and group compliance policy.
- Lead and develop the team, ensuring the optimal composition, competence, and motivation of the team, setting priorities, managing day-to-day and long-term objectives, and monitoring work undertaken by the team.
- Work with the payroll process lead to identify and deliver collaborative continuous improvements in systems and processes, positively affecting both our Voice of Customer and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure self and team undertake continuous professional development in relation to any regulation or legislation changes impacting payroll, HR administration, benefits, and master data.
- Initiate and implement improvements in ways of working within own area of responsibility.
- Act as an expert in the field, assist in any complex queries and escalations.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders in Arla and third-party suppliers.
- Keep process documentation up to date, ensuring all local processes are documented and maintained.
- Develop and implement the local payroll strategy, ensuring it's aligned with global standards and local regulations.
Requirements:
- Payroll (Excellent knowledge of UK regulations, payroll processing, and employment tax, including global mobility).
- Employee Relations (Excellent understanding of UK Employment Law).
- Masterdata Management (Good knowledge of Masterdata management).
- HR Admin (Excellent knowledge of delivering HR admin support and creating a link between a local admin service and a global shared service center).
