Job Title: Optical Care Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Optical Care Specialist to join our team at Network Group Holdings. As an Optical Care Specialist, you will work Monday to Friday visiting Nursing and Care homes in Birmingham and surrounding areas, assisting the Optometrist with sight tests.

  • Visiting Nursing and Care Homes
  • Assisting the Optometrist
  • Carrying out full dispenses at all levels
  • Carrying out aftercare and fittings
  • Administrative duties

Key Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Confident with at least 2 years experience within optics
  • Good clinical knowledge with excellent dispensing skills
  • Empathy and a sympathetic approach for elderly patients, some with dementia
  • Team player
  • Experienced driver with at least 2 years
  • Enjoy driving and being on the road

What We Offer:
This is a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum, with good bonus potential and a fully expensed company car.
