About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Employment Specialist to join our team at ServiceNet Inc. in Hatfield, MA.

As an Employment Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with physical and/or mental disabilities achieve their employment goals. Your primary responsibility will be to provide vocational support, skills building, and job development services to clients, tailored to their unique needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver CIES or Individual Placement Services service components as identified on the Individualized Plan for Employment (MRC) or Individualized Service Plan (DDS).
  • Assess client's vocational functioning using background information and work history.
  • Conduct job development and job search activities individualized to each client's preference.
  • Collaborate with local benefit planning services to help clients obtain information about their entitlements.
  • Work closely with other support services to provide individualized wrap-around and follow-along supports.
  • Communicate with family members and involved other supports to gather input about the client's skills, interests, strengths, and ideas for support.
  • Participate in Adult Clinical Community Support (ACCS) meetings to coordinate and integrate CIES vocational services.
  • Employ trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, person-centered, culturally competent, and strengths-based approaches and skills training techniques.
  • Provide thorough documentation and data collection for all clients using prescribed forms and practice.
