About the Role

BitGo Inc. is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to join our team in London. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for acquiring new client relationships and increasing revenues across our solutions, including secure wallets, regulated custody, and prime brokerage services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to increase revenues across all of BitGo's solutions, focusing on acquiring new client relationships.
  • Client Representation: Represent BitGo products and services externally in client meetings and at industry events in the EMEA region and occasionally globally.
  • Market Understanding: Stay up-to-date on regional market microstructure and evolving regional competitor landscape.
  • Sales Life Cycle: Lead the end-to-end sales life cycle, including preparing presentations, proposals, and coordinating with internal teams to successfully onboard clients.
  • Product Expertise: Become an expert in the cryptocurrency market and BitGo's custody, trading, staking, lending, and DeFi products.
  • Client Management: Work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, driving and managing client requests, issues, and initiatives across multiple teams, including trading, lending, operations, compliance, and support.
  • Demonstrations and Product Deep Dives: Conduct demos and product deep dives, leveraging your expertise of BitGo's products and how they meet the needs of specific clients.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in institutional or enterprise sales, business development, account management, or other front office roles in digital assets, financial services, fintech, or an adjacent industry.
  • Financial and Technical Knowledge: Strong grasp of finance and technical terminology, concepts, and ability to seamlessly translate between both languages.
  • Industry Enthusiasm: Enthusiasm for the digital asset industry and curiosity of new concepts such as protocols and tokens, DeFi, NFTs.
  • Agility and Learning: Agility and appetite for learning new products/technology in a fast-developing environment.
  • CRM Experience: Experience with CRM Tools such as Salesforce.
  • Critical Thinking and Communication: Critical thinking, open communication, and ownership mentality.
