Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at OX Seven Talent Partners R2R. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the roofing supplies sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, including large distributors and small roofing contractors
  • Provide technical solutions to customers and ensure they receive the support they need
  • Work closely with Branch Managers to achieve sales goals and support their efforts to double turnover within the next 3-5 years
  • Travel extensively across the region to meet with customers and branches

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in the merchant sector, with a strong understanding of roofing products and technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Confidence in using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and other sales tools
  • Ability to analyze sales data and identify opportunities for growth
  • Strong product knowledge and ability to provide technical solutions to customers

Working Arrangements

This is a largely remote role, with the need to base yourself at the branches during the week as required. Working hours will be 7am-4pm in line with branch opening and trades working hours.
