Job Title: Digital Services Field Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Support Engineer to join our team at Sanderson Recruitment Plc. As a Field Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional IT support to our clients, ensuring their computer and network systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT support requests and queries for clients.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components of computer and network systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Repair and replace damaged computer and network components, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
  • Provide proactive operational monitoring checks daily, identifying potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Support clients with a wide range of IT issues, from Cloud solutions to cybersecurity and telephony.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to understand their IT needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Travel to client sites as required, ensuring excellent communication and customer service skills.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Field Support Engineer or similar role in an MSP environment.
  • Strong knowledge of G Suite and Cloud solutions, with experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware components.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex IT issues.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work and travel.
