We are seeking a highly motivated Finance and Support Associate to join our team at the NHS England board. This exciting opportunity will allow you to contribute to delivering high-quality services for all by optimising the use of digital technology, research, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning: Assist the Finance Manager and other Capital colleagues in the preparation of data, business case admin, arrangement of meetings, etc.
  • Document Management: Ensure robust document management by providing support on financial processes, systems and procedures, and maintain an appropriate file structure.
  • Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform any other reasonable finance or admin tasks, generally using Excel, PowerPoint or Outlook.

This role requires a strong understanding of financial systems and software programmes such as SBS Oracle, Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. If you have excellent communication and organisational skills, and can work effectively in a team, we encourage you to apply.

Person Specification
  • Educated to NVQ level 3 in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience
  • At least two years' experience working in a large or complex organisation, ideally within the NHS
