SEN Coordinator Role

We are excited to offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join our team at GSL Education. The role involves working closely with teaching staff to develop and implement comprehensive SEN policies and procedures that cater to the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Develop and implement effective SEN policies and procedures to ensure the support of students with special needs.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt curricula and teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students with special educational needs.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to cater to the unique requirements of each student.
- Provide training and support to teachers and staff on SEN-related issues to enhance their skills and confidence in supporting students with special needs.
- Ensure strict adherence to safeguarding and child protection protocols at all times.
Salary Information: £210-£280 per day (dependent on experience)
