Part-time SEN Coordinator Position

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Part-time SEN Coordinator to join our team at GSL Education - London. As a key member of the school's SEN department, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and delivering exceptional educational outcomes.
About the Job:
In this dynamic and rewarding role, you will work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement tailored support plans for students with SEMH needs. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all safeguarding and child protection protocols are strictly followed.
The successful candidate will possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with specialized training in Special Educational Needs and in-depth knowledge of SEN legislation and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEN policies and procedures.
- Assess and coordinate individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to adapt curricula and teaching methods to meet diverse learning requirements.
- Deliver training and support to teachers and staff on SEN-related topics.
- Review and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN interventions and make recommendations for improvement.
