**Maternity Quality Improvement Lead

About the Opportunity

We are excited to announce a new role within our Maternity Governance team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. As a Maternity Quality Improvement Lead, you will play a critical part in driving service improvements and implementing evidence-based practice across our maternity services.

Key responsibilities include developing, implementing, and evaluating maternity clinical audit systems and processes, supporting service improvements, and presenting findings to a multidisciplinary audience. You must be confident in creating, interpreting, and presenting data through various channels.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Midwifery Degree, be a Registered Midwife with current professional registration, and possess excellent communication skills. Experience in recent clinical practice, a well-documented CPD portfolio, and knowledge of SBL and the 3-Year Delivery Plan are also essential.

  • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple demands
  • Should be an effective communicator, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences
  • Must be able to work autonomously, as part of a team, and be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed

**Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible working arrangements, extensive training opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
