About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Analyst to join our team at Wastecare Ltd. As a key member of our IT Services team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our colleagues across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assistance to Wastecare staff members, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues.
  • Monitor and maintain the security and integrity of our IT infrastructure, identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure the optimal functionality of our IT systems and networks, including Windows Server, VMware, and Fortigate Firewalls.
  • Develop and maintain procedural documentation, ensuring compliance with ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials standards.
  • Collaborate with the IT Services team to drive innovation and improvement in our IT infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a technical support role, with a strong background in Microsoft Desktop and Server technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Logical approach to problem-solving, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, with a high level of autonomy and self-motivation.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, ITIL processes, and VoIP technology such as Avaya IP Office.
