About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Analyst to join our team at Wastecare Ltd. As a key member of our IT Services team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to all colleagues within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assistance to colleagues, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, managing IT service requests, and ensuring optimum functionality of IT systems and networks.
  • Monitor IT infrastructure for security incidents and vulnerabilities, recommending appropriate action.
  • Monitor data backups and check the function and performance of our IT Infrastructure.
  • Undertake project work, including capacity planning and identifying required changes.
  • Ensure all quality, asset management, and configuration management processes are followed.
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and supporting Wastecare IT infrastructure, including Windows Server, Windows Desktop PCs and Laptops, VMWare, Dell EMC storage, Fortigate Firewalls, Mobile device management using AirWatch and Soti, Microsoft SQL & Reporting Services, Office 365, and Avaya IP Office telephony.
Requirements
  • Microsoft Desktop and Server technologies, including Operating Systems, Office 365, MS Exchange Online, SharePoint 365, ADDS, GPO's, etc.
  • VMware or other virtualisation technologies.
  • LAN/WAN networking, VPN's, and Firewalls.
  • Creating and maintaining procedural documentation.
  • Experience with cloud technologies.
  • Experience with ITIL processes.
  • Experience of working with ISO27001 and/or Cyber Essentials.
  • Experience of working with VoIP technology such as Avaya IP Office.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamworking skills.
  • Logical approach to problem solving.
  • 5+ years experience in a technical support role.
  • Well organised and able to work unsupervised to tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working outside of normal business hours.
