IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Analyst to join our team at Wastecare Ltd. As a key member of our IT Services team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our colleagues across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and assistance to Wastecare staff members, responding to and resolving IT issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain the security and integrity of our IT systems and networks, identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities.
- Ensure the optimal functionality of our IT infrastructure, including Windows Server, VMware, and other technologies.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT strategies and projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of procedural documentation, ensuring compliance with ITIL processes and ISO27001 standards.
- Proven experience in a technical support role, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Desktop and Server technologies, VMware, and LAN/WAN networking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Logical approach to problem-solving, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Relevant professional qualifications, such as Microsoft Certifications, are desirable.
