Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

We are seeking a part-time Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary teams, providing specialist care for individuals with complex neurological disorders.
Main Duties- Provide highly specialist neuropsychological assessment and intervention services for patients with complex neurological conditions, including acquired brain injury, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease.
- Work as a key member of the multidisciplinary team, providing specialist care and support to patients and their families.
- Develop and deliver psychological and social interventions to individuals experiencing psychological difficulties, including depression, anxiety disorders, and adjustment difficulties.
- Carry out highly specialist assessments of patients' mental capacity and work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate care and support.
- Administer, score, and collate data on highly specialist psychometric assessment measures and communicate results to patients, families, and professionals.

Person Specification- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) with specific training in models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
- Experience of specialist neuropsychology assessment and treatment of clients across various care settings, including outpatient, community, primary care, and inpatient settings.
- Excellent team working, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively to patients, families, and professionals.
- Ability to develop and use complex multimedia materials for presentations in public, professional, and academic settings.
- Ability to identify and employ mechanisms of clinical governance as appropriate.
