Assistant Psychologist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable individual to join our West Norfolk Community Learning Disability Team as an Assistant Psychologist. This is an exciting opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to pursue a career in Clinical Psychology.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake protocol-based psychological assessments and assist in the formulation and delivery of care plans under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist.
- Work collaboratively with a range of professionals and in various settings, including day services, residential services, and supported living.
- Assist in the development of individual and group work plans and support with research activities as required.
- Travel between appointment venues in rural and urban locations and communicate complex information sensitively.
- Honours degree in psychology (2:1 or above) and eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the British Psychological Society.
- Experience of working with vulnerable clients and relevant paid or voluntary work.
- High-level communication skills, including the ability to communicate and work in emotive settings.
- Knowledge of National strategies relating to Learning Disabilities and skills in communication, teaching, research, methodology, and psychological models.
